(7-8/12/21)
The Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens organizes the International Scientific Symposium on December 7 and 8 of 2021 celebrating the 100 Years anniversary since the birth of the composer Anestis Logothetis (1921-1994).
Anestis Logothetis, pioneer of the 20th century music, redefined the roles of the composer, performer and audience by using multimodal expressive musical elements exclusively through sound. A characteristic legacy of the composer in the international community is the particular graphic notation of his works, which is a milestone for redefining music as a temporal art form.
