EVENTS-CONCERTS
Among other things, the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has organized the following concerts and artistic events:
2022
Music September, 2022: Concert of the Jazz Music Ensemble of undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Music Studies (NKUA). 14th of September, National Observatory of Athens, Lofos Nymfon.
Music June-July 2022. Art, electroacoustic, traditional, and popular music concerts. Participants included undergraduate and postgraduate students, Ph.D. students, and Music Ensembles of the Department of Music Studies (NKUA). Athens, 1-2/06 and 11/07: Philological Association “Parnassos”, 6-7/6/2022: Aula Lecture Hall, School of Philosophy, Panepistimiopolis-Zografos, 9/6/2022: Main Building of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 30 Panepistimiou Str. 30, and 8/7/2022: National Observatory of Athens, Lofos Nymfon. Organization: Department of Music Studies (NKUA) and Laboratory of Music Acoustics and Technology (LabMAT).
Concert and Workshop – Lecture of the French Vocal Ensemble “SOLI Tutti”, in the frame of the international conference for the 100 years from the birth of Iannis Xenakis (https://xenakis2022.uoa.gr) in 23/5/2022: Patio of the Mold Museum of the School of Philosophy (2nd Floor, Panepistimiopolis-Zografos). The chorus ensemble of the Department of Music Studies (NKUA) participates in the concert, under the direction of Vagia Papagiannopoulou and the composer Giorgos Dousis
Concert of the Civis Symphonic Orchestra. It took place on Saturday, April 16th, in the National Theatre La Criée. It was recorded and transmitted through livestreaming in the 9 Universities of the Civis Alliance. 14 students of the School of Philosophy of the NKUA participated in the Civis Symphonic Orchestra, 13 of whom study in the Department of Music Studies (NKUA)
Music Spring 2022. Music Ensembles of the Department of Music Studies (NKUA) participated in various concerts,whicht took place in the Aula Lecture Hall, School of Philosophy, Panepistimiopolis-Zografos (3- 4/3/2022) and in the History Museum of the NKUA, Tholou 5, Plaka (20/3/2022).
