
Anna Papavasileiou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Nicosia, awarded with distinction. She is proficient in English, and fluent in Spanish, German. She also has working knowledge of Italian, Arabic, and some French. She has served for several years in secondary education both in Greece and the U.S. (Chicago, Illinois). Beyond her formal training in advanced music theory and piano, she maintains active engagement in a variety of musical and pedagogical endeavors, embracing lifelong learning as a foundational principle. Her ongoing pursuits include private cello study, percussion instruction (at the Lyceum Club of Greek Women and the Greek National Opera), ukulele lessons via the Lifelong Learning Center of Music Studies, Musickators (NKUA) and coursework in Costume Design (Public Vocational Training Institute, Chalandri), Spanish Philology (NKUA), Arabic (Municipality of Chalandri), and Creative Writing (under Nikos Davvetas and Amanda Michalopoulou). Her current academic objective is to pursue doctoral research in Music Therapy and Community Music.
